Ramble... Tuesday |
BIG NEWS first... You probably saw it on the fist page but anyway... I now have a new home for Wolfcom! The new address is going to be www.cwolf.co.uk instead of the old www.cwolf.plus.com - a little easier to remember but more importantly: A BIG Thank You to Plus.net for the old service - you have been great but now I move on. Onto other things now... It has been HELL at work today. Why? Well, I had to redesign the darn database several times for one as people kept changing the requirements. This coupled with M$ Access not behaving right caused serious stress. Ah well. It's all the fun of the challenge. Oddly enough I figured out how to fix it late tonight, in the middle of the Kelly Clarkson gig! |

Ramble... Monday |
Saw Brokeback Mountain at the weekend. Very good film,
better than I expected. Worth seeing at the cinema too as lots of wild
west landscape shots. OK, so part of my job today is sorting out a new database. All normal
except this one requires something tricky, so back to school (Google)
for me! Just got Viewtiful Joe for a fiver! I know it is a fairly old PS2 game now but it is also a VERY highly rated one, so I am looking forward to playing it. I am going to go round to that house tonight to look at the cheap comics too. Just got further confirmation on more comic content for my website relaunch. My star reviewer is all geared to go! Just working on layout and names for the Comix area... |

Ramble... Friday |
So, first thing then... Saw the X-Men: Last Stand (X3) trailer last night. Looking VERY good, looking forward to it so much now! Only 2 months to go. It is just a shame that this is probably going to be the last one (X-Men Film) OMG! Someone at work is selling comics at 20p each! I collect comics, well, I prefer the book compilations really but all are good. Mainly a BIG Marvel fan. Talking of Marvel I ordered an old but great story the other day... Well, the ebay’ed copy of Armour Wars (or Armor Wars as the poor Amerykuns have misspelt it), arrived in yesterdays post. Fast! So happy with that. However the advert neglected to mention it was an ex-library book (complete with stamp, missing patch on spine and plastic cover), or that the very edges were that worn yellow that a well used book gets. Actually, this older TPB (trade paper back - when they reprint comics in a book) reminded me of something I have been noticing with comic books, graphic novels or whatever. The spines are increasingly getting too tight. |
